Pike has a solid four-sided point that meas. approx. 15.00 inches long with a 5.50 inch long socket. The blade has a number and letter cast into opposite sides. One side has the number “49” and the opposite side has a letter “R.” Socket has a crude casting line. Point is anchored to the pike by an iron nail.
Wooden haft is round but has been cut and shortened. It meas. approx. 52.50 inches long from the base of the socket to the cut.
Overall the item is in nice condition. The point is fairly clean and free of rust. Any pitting is very light. Wood has usual minor dings and dents with an 1.00 x 1.00 inch gouge just above the cut area.
