Letter reads,“13, May 1878, Dear Sir, By a curious blunder, I have in complying with your request, written 13th of April instead of 13th of March- on the enclosed. Yours faithfully, A.M. Sullivan, For E. MacDonald Esq.”.
Alexander Martin Sullivan (1830 – 1884) was an Irish Nationalist politician, lawyer and journalist from Bantry, County Cork.
Letter is written on a folded sheet of paper which measures 4 ¾” x 7 ½”. Two slight crease marks are present. Paper has yellowed with age. No chips. [sm]
