There are articles about the city of Vicksburg, the works of Congress, and news from Europe. Interior includes illustrations of the James River, Huntsville, AL, Maj. Gen Dix, Brig. Gen. Couch, and several James River scenes. There is a centerfold illustration titled, “The Army of the Potomac- General McClellan Arrives on the Bank of the James River”.

Exhibits chipping on left margin and bottom edge. Front page separated.  Short tears to all pages at lower right edges.  Overall in good condition otherwise. A nice Harper’s Weekly collectible. In protective sleeve, with white card backing.  [jp/ld][ph:L]
