Farragut, U.S.N. Interior illustrations include “The “Hartford,” Admiral Farragut’s Flagship, Arriving at New York and Returning the Salutes of Foreign Frigates.” Also a panoramic double page centerfold—“General View of Morris Island—Union Camps and Rebel Works—Fort Johnson—the Lower Harbor of Charleston, South Carolina, Etc., Etc.” Plus a page of sketches that include, “Union Sharp Shooters In Front of Fort Wagner, Charleston, SC”, and “Bombardment of Fort Wagner, SC,” the action in which Colonel Shaw and the black 54th Massachusetts were pulverized.
