Grant (Unconditional Surrender Grant)”, page 478. Interior illustrations include additional Vicksburg scenes: [1] “View of the Extreme Right, Showing The Mississippi River Above and Below Vicksburg,” [2] “The City of Vicksburg Before the War”, [3] “Under Fort Hill”, and [4] “Siege of Vicksburg—Blowing Up Rebel Fort Hill”. Also two panoramic Battle of Gettysburg centerfold illustrations: “Hill On The Left of The Union Position—Hazlitt’s Battery In Action”, “Union Position Near The Centre –Gettysburg In The Distance—Cemetery On The Hill.”, story on page 471.

Old, partial tape repair to left edge.  Some light scattered soiling to front cover; interior pages clean.  Small tear inward from right edge of each page, approx. half way down the pages.  Pp. 469-470 has a 3” tear upward from bottom edge; pp. 471-472 has a 2 ½” tear upward from bottom edge.
