Interior illustrations contain numerous scenes of General Sherman and the recent holidays in recently surrendered Savannah—“Christmas Day in Savannah, General Sherman’s Christmas Dinner at Mr. Green’s”—“New Year’s Day In Savannah, General Sherman’s Reception at Mr. Green’s.” Also a double page centerfold depicting several scenes of fleet debarkation and embarkation and Debarkation of General Butler’s Army on Federal Point, Fort Fisher, NC, December 25, 1864.
