Engraved and published by William Sartain, Philadelphia, ca. 1865-70. Framed in pressed black wood, ornately adorned w/handsome gilt inner trim, 15.75” x 21.5, w/ brown paper back & hang-wire. Interior mezzotint, in black and gray, 12” x 9.75, double-matted in gray in green.
Frame and matting near fine. Mezzotint exhibits traces of inner dust, while remaining sharp and attractive. Some staining along bottom margin, with print slightly wavy in that area. Solid collective, excellent library wall print. [JP] [ph:L]
