A limited edition cold cast bronze sculpture titled "Gen. Lewis Armistead" by Ron Tunison, ca. 1994. The piece depicts General Lewis Armistead as he led his troop of Virginians, hat on sword, as they penetrated Union lines as part of Pickett's Charge at the Battle of Gettysburg on July 3, 1863. The piece is numbered 397 of 450. It is on a hardwood base with a gold title plate. It stands approximately 14 1/2 inches tall and the base measures 9 3/4 inches long and 8 inches wide.

Tunison is known for the highly detailed bronzes he creates with four monuments on the Gettysburg, PA battlefield, one on the Antietam, MD battlefield and one at the entrance to the Museum of the Civil War Soldier, near Petersburg, VA to his credit.

NOTE: We do not have the original packing box for this statue, so we do not feel comfortable with shipping it without risking it being damaged. We would be able to transport it to any of the Civil War shows we take part it, or it can be picked up here in the shop.
