Across the top of the chart are the different uniforms worn by the Union with the Confederates shown across the bottom. These drawings were done using the uniform regulations as written. The soldier in the field often varied, especially the Rebels. The chart also shows the different insignia of rank for officers and enlisted men as well as button styles and kepi colors. Overall it is a nice colorful print well done and matted. Framed it meas. approx. 26.50 x 35.00 inches. Printed between 1891-1895.
