Nice, original label for Dr. I. Newton's Bitters calls it, "A Pleasant Cordial Stomach Bitter", helpful for, "bilious affections, dyspepsia, histeria, nervous disorders, worms, diarrhoea, disorders peculiar to Females, asthma, and intermittent fevers". Directions for mixing with spirits or wine and dosing are also given.
Label measures 4.5" by 8.75". Shows fold creases and very small tears on the sides. Totally readable. [sl]
