White bill with black printing issued by the Bank of Howardsville and dated September 3, 1861. The note is decorated with a numeral “1” at top corners.
Reverse is blank.
Bill is in good used but tired condition with no major tears but it does have several scattered pinholes and some edge wear. Inked bill number is faint but signatures are good. [ad][ph:L]
