State of Rhode Island 23mm, two-piece button with anchor surrounded by scrollwork on a lined field. “RHODE ISLAND” minus the hyphen is across the top while at bottom is “HOPE.” Back has depressed mark that reads “D. EVANS & CO./ATTLEBORO, MASS.” Shank is good and the face is clean.
