Circa 1830's, flat one piece coat size button for Vermont Militia Infantry. Button depicts Vermont soldier holding flintlock musket, and "VT. MILITIA", intended for Vermont Militia units. BM: "R & W. ROBINSON / (dot) ATTLEBOROUGH (dot) / EXTRA / (dot) * (dot) * (dot) * (dot) RICH (dot) * (dot) * (dot) * (dot)" rm with four raised rings. Good condition. Some wear to silvering on front. Shank present & straight. Albert's VT4, Tice's VT200A1.
