CSA marked two piece 22mm brass general service button. This version is of British manufacture and is back marked “SUPERIOR QUALITY”. While these were not formally approved by the Confederate Government, they did make their way into service and the field. Many examples have been excavated at various sites including Gettysburg.
Condition: Non-Dug, without pushes or dents. Straight shank, with overall darkened patina.
