An excellent example of a three ring decanter of the federal period. Superb cut label decoration. Etched on the front is “SPIRITS” with narrow leaf design above & below the lettering, which meet on each side of the bottle and merge into larger design. Polished pontil. Does not have a stopper.
This decanter stands 8 ¼” tall. The base measures 4” in diameter. Overall very fine condition, no discernible cracks. Some minor scattered surface scratches from age and use. [ld][PH:L]
