A superior example of a three ring decanter of the Federal period. Rare, and superbly cut, label decoration. Mushroom shaped stopper. Overall excellent condition; the only visible defect is a crack in the stem of the stopper, which may have been there since it was produced. Decanter stands 10” tall including the stopper; diameter of the base is 3 ¾”. Unpolished pontil. [ld][ph:L]
