Commemorative whiskey bottle for the 1957 Presidential Inauguration of Dwight Eisenhower. Bottle measures 11 ½” tall and 3” round, and was meant to hold a fifth gallon of liquor. On the neck is a painted stamp with an eagle and 1957. The front of the bottle is a painted picture of the Capitol building, and on the back is a list of presidents to date prior to Eisenhower. Item is embossed with “FEDERAL LAW FORBIDS SALE/ OR RE-USE OF THIS BOTTLE.” [mc] [ph:L]
