Gold colored crock is stamped, “E.T. COWDREY & CO., BOSTON”. E.T Cowdrey was in business from 1855 to 1888 selling pickles, preserves, sealed meats, fruit, vegetables and the like.

Jar is also marked with a faint incised stamp by Price L. Bristol, an English pottery company.

Measures 5 ½” high by 4” at the base. Good condition with a few surface cracks and light chipping around the edge of the lid.  [sl]
