A nice example of a classic Civil War era black glass beer or ale bottle imported in large numbers from England by business of both the Northern and Southern states. Stands 10” tall, base diameter is 2 1/2”.  Wobbles slightly when sitting on a flat surface, otherwise excellent condition.
