Classic Civil War era pint capacity, three seam molded black glass ale or porter bottle. These types of bottles are commonly found on both Union and Confederate camp sites as well as winter quarter sites. This example stands 10” tall and measures 2 1/2” in diameter at the base.  There is some roughness located at the mouth area. And some surface scratches on the sides of the body. No other damages are noted.  This is a non-excavated specimen.
