By Comrade Thomas M. Vincent, Bvt. Brigadier General, USA. FISH 1010. 26 pp., in red faded wraps, cover detached. Else VG.
Thomas M. Vincent was an 1853 West Point graduate who served during the 3rd Seminole War, and, after seeing service with the Army of Northwestern Virginia, was assigned to the Adjutant General staff in Washington. His requests for active service in the field were consistently denied by Sec. of War Stanton, who said his services were too valuable in Washington. Solid GAR collectible. In protective sleeve.
