This three volume set is titled “UNIFORMS AND TRADITIONS OF THE GERMAN ARMY 1941-1945” by John R. Angolia and Adolf Schlicht and published by R. James Bender Publishing of San Jose, California. Vol 1 in 1984, Vol 2 1986 and Vol 3 1987. All volumes are 1st editions.
Each volume is bound with an illustrated hardcover and meas. approx. 6.00 x 9.00 inches. Covers are in excellent condition and may show some very minor surface dirt.
Volume 1 runs 448 pages, Volume 2 runs 416 pages and Volume 3 runs 640 pages for a total of 1504 pages of information and photographs.
Interiors are like new however Volume 1 does have two or three pages with highlighting but the rest of the interiors are clean. Volumes are full of numerous black & white and color photographs, illustrations, and charts. There is also plenty of text to enlighten the reader. This is not just a set of picture books.
This set covers anything and everything one would want to know about German Army organization, uniforms, equipment, insignia, weapons, helmets etc…
