Volume meas. approx. 6.00 x 9.00 and runs 467 pages with roster, index and numerous illustrations.
Interior is very clean. Exterior is also very clean.
The original Bucktails were organized on June 4, 1861 and served with both Pope’s Army of Virginia and the Army of the Potomac. The regiment saw action of the Peninsula and at 2nd Bull Run, South Mountain, Antietam, Fredericksburg, Gettysburg, Wilderness and Spotsylvania. [AD] [PH:L]
