Binding is excellent and the interior is exceptionally clean.

The 5^TH Michigan was organized in Detroit on August 28, 1861 and served with the 3^rd and later, the 2nd Corps of the Army of the Potomac. They saw action in all the major campaigns of that army suffering heavily at Williamsburg, Fair Oaks, Antietam, Fredericksburg, Gettysburg and Hatcher’s Run. [AD] [PH:L]
