This title was part of The Virginia Regimental Histories Series produced by H. E. Howard during the 1980’s and ‘90’s.
This second edition was written by David F. Riggs and was published in 1982.
Volume meas. approx. 6.00 x 9.00 inches and runs 106 pages with roster, six black and white photographs and several maps.
Hardcover is gray cloth with the title and the great seal of the Confederacy embossed in gold on the front cover. Title and author repeated on the spine. Covers are excellent.
Binding is excellent. Page edges have yellowed some with age.
The 7th Virginia was raised in May 15, 1861 and served with the Army of Northern Virginia throughout its existence. They were present for many of the larger campaigns of that army from Blackburn’s Ford to Appomattox. [ad][ph:L]
