This fourth edition was written by Robert K. Krick and was published in 1982.

Volume meas. approx. 6.00 x 9.00 inches and runs 132 pages with roster, fifteen black and white photographs and several maps.

Hardcover is gray cloth with the title and the great seal of the Confederacy embossed in gold on the front cover. Title and author repeated on the spine. Covers are excellent.

Binding is excellent.
