Also includes a chapter on replicas, reproductions and fakes, a photo section of civil war soldiers with identifiable buckles apparent, a photo section of buckles still in situ on original belts, plus nine appendixes with photos and a bibliography.
Overall good condition, though it has a good deal of superficial damage, soiling and staining to the cover. Binding is strong, pages are clean with just light age yellowing to edges. [ld] [ph:L]
