The full title of this volume is “COLLECTING CONFEDERATE PAPER MONEY: A COMPLETE AND FULLY ILLUSTRATED GUIDE TO COLLECTING ALL CONFEDERATE NOTE TYPES AND VARITIES” by Pierre Fricke and published by Smythe of New York in 2005.

Volume meas. approx. 8.50 x 11.00 inches and runs 800 pages.

Covers are in good condition and show very little wear.

Interior is very clean.

Volume is profusely illustrated with black & white and color photographs of the many different bills produced by the Confederacy during the Civil War.

Inside front cover has a certificate showing that this was the 112th copy printed and sold to Dean Thomas.

Dean S. Thomas was known as a onetime Gettysburg Battlefield Guide and early relic hunter as well as the founder, owner, and operator of Thomas Publications. He was also the author of many books related to Civil War ammunition and projectiles.  [ad] [ph:m]
