Book is bound in blue cloth with the title and authors embossed in gold on the cover and spine. Covers are in excellent condition.

Volume meas. 5.50 x 8.50 inches and runs 120 pages. Makers and dealers are listed alphabetically with short notes on each. Several pages display photographs of back marks on numerous buttons. Binding is excellent. Interior is clean.

Dean S. Thomas was known as a onetime Gettysburg Battlefield Guide and early relic hunter as well as the founder, owner, and operator of Thomas Publications. He was also the author of many books related to Civil War ammunition and projectiles. [ad][ph:L]
