This volume’s full title is “Photographs of Union & Confederate Officers in Civil War” but often more simply called “the Meade Album”. Published by the Civil War Library & Museum in 1996. This contains photographs of Civil War officers collected after the war by General Meade; an invaluable reference tool that is now exceptionally hard to find.
This is a large book, being a 17.5" x 18.5" scale reprint of the original album. Very limited edition. This photographic reference contains images of more than 900 identified Civil War officers including their name, rank, units, and oftentimes their fate on the battlefield.
Navy cloth cover with leather title label. A very few small white spots on cover. Boards and spine are straight. Binding is tight. Pages clean and in excellent condition. 84 pages with introduction and index.
