Nice clean copy of Major General George McClellan’s memoirs. This is a “shoulder strap” edition so called because printed on the spine is a wonderful color rendition of a major general’s shoulder strap.

Hardcover volume with green cloth covers. The front is embossed with the title in gold while just below is a full-color Army of the Potomac Society badge. Spine has the title in gold as well as the above-mentioned shoulder strap.

Interior is well bound and clean. Inside front cover has the original owners name in period ink. Volume meas. approx. 6.00 x 9.00 inches and runs 678 pages with index.

Very handsome volume in very nice condition giving you General McClellan’s view of the war. [AD]
