Else VG and solid, w/tight spine and page signatures. Subtitled “Fifteen month A Guest of the So-Called Southern Confederacy”, this book treats the author’s experiences in Richmond, Andersonville, Savannah, Millen, Blackshear and Florence.” Written with a decided Union bias, Nevins & Wiley describe this book as being “well-written, gripping and very detailed”.
