Booklet meas. approx. 9.75 x 6.50 inches and runs 64 pages.

Paper cover has a nice strongly printed title “TRUMPET OF FREEDOM” with a woodcut of a soldier playing a bugle. Around the soldier are some of the titles to be found in the book such as “BATTLE HYMN OF THE REPUBLIC,” “GARIBALDI HYMN,” “DO THEY PRAY FOR ME AT HOME,” “MARYLAND, MY MARYLAND,” “HOW DO YOU LIKE IT JEFFERSON D,” “MOUNT BOYS MOUNT,” “RALLY ROUND THE FLAG” etc… Cover has darkened some with age and has minor wear and a closed 1.00 inch tear. Some page corners are dog-eared.

Back cover has advertisement for various other music books. There is also a chip along one edge and a fold line at corner.
