Small paperbound book that meas. approx. 3.25 x 4.75 inches. Covers are brown paper with the title embossed in gold on the front “THE SOLDIER’S POCKET BOOK.”

Both the front cover is water stained and this goes through to the first page on which there is a calendar for 1864. The rest of the booklet is clean and very readable. The volume runs 64 pages with a torn but complete title page and some dog-eared toward the back. Binding is good.

Booklet contains prayers, psalms and hymns.
