Standard wooden spool type handle, measuring 3.5” in length, .875” in diameter.  With wrapped hemp twine with connector hook. Handle & twine in excellent condition, with connector hook exhibiting light rust. Else VG. This was the standard lanyard for Union 12 pdrs. & other field artillery. Fine artillery collectible.
