This artifact is an original artillery fuse packet with five Federal artillery paper time fuses still contained within the original paper wrap. Packet is wrapped in blue / green paper and holds five 12-second fuses and is marked "Frankford Arsenal, / 1863 / 12 SECOND FUSES." Packet still exhibit the small cotton tabs or strips protruding from the closed, glued paper packet. Very good condition.
