U.S. CIVIL WAR HAND GRENADE

$1,295.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 2024-346

Offered here is a rare Civil War-era iron hand grenade. Appearing like a small cannon ball, it was light enough to be thrown by hand into enemy works.

Measures approximately 3.2” in diameter. Its walls are nearly 0.4” thick and there is a 0.7” wide fuse hole in the top.

It is non-dug and so the iron body is clean and smooth with no rust.  [jet] [ph:L]
