This is the elongated artillery shell for the 3-inch Ordnance Rifles and 10-pounder Parrott cannons.
This "dug" artillery shell features a complete iron sabot on the bottom and a partial zinc Parrott fuse adaptor in the nose. Iron body remains in very good condition. The piece has been cleaned and coated. Deactivated and safe. [jet] [ph:L]
