Seven-foot long rammer for 12-pounder cannon. Wood staff is 1.4” in diameter. Wood ramming head on one end is about 6” long and 4” in diameter with 0.5” metal bands secured on ends to keep head from splitting. Other end has an 8” long sponge head. Sponge is shaggy wool with a mix of red, green, brown, and tan. Wood has original olive drab paint.
Condition is very good. Some green paint chipping scattered overall. Wool sponge head is excellent. [jet] [ph:L]
