Complete leather sword belt rig of bridle leather. The leather is well worn but supple and unbroken. A light waxy residue from leather treatment is on the surface.
A shoulder support strap (Sam Brown belt) is separate but comes with the set. It is complete and original and of similar condition. There are two sword traces (hangers) present, however they look to be from a later era and were added. All hardware is present as well including brass snap-swivel hooks on the hangers.
The belt plate is the Pattern 1851 NCO plate with applied German silver wreath. The keeper and belt plate have matching bench mark “145”.
This is a well-worn but complete example of an N.C.O. sword belt and will work well with any display. [jet] [ph:L]
