This is a very rare canister round meant for use in the Wiard rifle. The tin body is in good condition and is nicely crimped over the top plate. The sleeve has some very light surface dirt and small scattered rust spots. The bottom of the sleeve is still attached to the wooden sabot but does wiggle a bit. Interior contains iron balls packed in sawdust.
Original wood sabot is in excellent condition.
