This box has a single wide belt loop which is sewn. Latch tab is sewn with brass finial, and outer flap to cover the contents. Maker’s mark on the outer flap reads, “NAVY YARD / N.Y. / 1863”. This Navy fuse box is in very good condition. The latch tab is in very good condition. All of the leather is soft and pliable with very light crazing on the surface. Stitching is still tight.
