Haversack is completely constructed of brown leather. It has a large body that measures approximately 12 ¾” x 13” tall and is sewn around the edges with a wide flap at top. The flap is held closed by an adjustable leather tab sewn to the underside of the flap and a roller buckle sewn to the outer haversack body. On the outer flap, just above the stitching that anchors the latch tab, is stenciled the number “20” in black. Lifting the flap exposes the inside of the bag which is quite spacious. The shoulder strap is sewn to the back of the bag and is adjusted by means of a large iron roller buckle. The width of the shoulder strap is approximately 1 ½”. The leather is in good shape and remains pliable. All stitching is intact and tight. It does show some light signs of use with wear at the fold of the outer flap, small cracks on the shoulder sling, and some soiling from use and storage. [jet]
