Heavy cast iron mortar with stepped carriage. Item is well made and has some working parts.
The base of the item meas. approx. 2.50 inches wide x 3.50 inches long x 3.50 inches high.
The barrel of the mortar is approx. 0.50 inch thick with a 0.75 of an inch bore and a notched spine at the breech. Mounted on the left side of the carriage is a wheel that if turned will manipulate the barrel up and down.
Item has almost all of its original black paint with some surface rust about the 1 to 3 o’clock position on the muzzle and side. [ad]
