This is the body and plunger only of the rarest sized Ketchum grenade. The 1-pounder.
The body is oval and from plunger to the top, where the fins would be, it meas. 4.50 inches long.
The plunger is removable and still retains the pressure spring.
As stated above there are no fins.
The body of both the grenade and plunger are in excellent, clean condition. Both have a small collection number of “10-E-1” very neatly and unobtrusively inscribed in white ink.
