Completely authentic. Large pine wood packing crate that measures 11 x 20 x 11 inches. Each side has handles that are marked 107 lbs. in one-inch high stenciled markings. Under the handle is 8 Lgt 12 PDR / GUN SHELL / FIXED / FUSES & / FRICTION PRIMERS / RICHMOND ARSENAL / 1861. Wearing light in spots but all distinct and clear. Ruggedly made box with dovetail construction and cut nails. Lacks lid and hinges.
