Unissued waist belt plate of the Ohio Volunteer Militia (Circa 1861-63). Stud / puppy paw type belt attachments & hook present. Face of this plate contains 99% of its original gold-flash gilt surface. Some minor scattered oxidation spots on face of the plate. Also, along with this waist belt is the original manufacturer’s wrapping paper.
