SHADOW BOX OF RELICS FROM VARIOUS BATTLEFIELDS

$895.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 33-290

Here is a wonderful shadow box filled with Civil War relics. Items are set into green Styrofoam and framed. Old labels identify items and locations. Recovery sites noted are Cold Harbor, Petersburg, Antietam, Bermuda Hundred, Manassas, White Oak Swamp, Williamsburg, and Gettysburg.

Among the better pieces are a two-piece Confederate belt plate, a US oval plate, an eagle breast plate, and a Hardee hat eagle.

Additionally, there are ten buttons, including a Confederate staff officer’s button (which unfortunately has suffered severe ground deterioration); twelve bullets and cartridge casings; infantry hat insignia and smaller miscellaneous relics.

Frame measures approximately 11 ½” tall x 9 ½” wide.  [jet]
