Vignette bust view of General Reynolds. This is the view of him that is most often encountered and familiar to any student of the war. The mount and card are clean. Back mark is J. E. McClees, Philadelphia. General Reynolds is well known for making the decision to stand and fight at Gettysburg on July 1st and for then sealing that decision with his life. He was well loved by his men and sorely missed by them after his death. Any item relating to General Reynolds is highly sought after and highly prized by collectors to this day.
