Buff leather belt with two-piece brass wreath buckle is in overall very good condition. Leather has some surface dirt and slight crazing. Stitching is tight all over. One end of the belt has a brass buckle for adjusting size as well as two leather keepers. There is a brass slider on the other end.
Brass has a darkened patina, with some slight traces of verdigris. There is a maker’s mark on the front of the belt, behind the buckle, that reads, “THEO. H. DOAN & CO PHILADELPHIA”. There is no maker’s mark on buckle or hardware.
Belt measures 45” long x 1 ¾” wide. There is an additional 13” folded behind in the keepers.
